Dr. Sarah Fishman - Learn More About Me 

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing counselling to individuals, couples, and groups. I am licensed in both Montreal, Québec (O.P.Q# 12180-13) and Israel (27-85061). I am based in Jerusalem, Israel and see clients in both Israel (in-person and virtually) and Montreal, Canada (virtually, adjusting for the time difference). My areas of expertise include treating sexual and couple difficulties, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, as well as issues related to self-esteem and wellness.

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal. I trained under the supervision of renowned clinicians and researchers in the field of Sex and Couple Therapy at McGill University and in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) at Concordia University and McGill University in Canada, as well as at the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress at Hadassah Hospital in Israel.

I completed my predoctoral internship (accredited by the American Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association) at the Allen Memorial Institute of the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Québec. In addition, I am a professional member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ), as well as the Ministry of Health in Israel. I offer counseling in English, French, and Hebrew.

In my free time, I can often be found relishing spending quality time with my loved ones, reading a good book (will always appreciate a book suggestion!), cooking (don't hesitate to share your favourite recipe with me), and gardening (still figuring out how best to grow my lemon, cherry, pecan, almond trees and rose bushes).
